What is IPP?

Institute of Professional practices (IPP) was founded in 2012 by Drs Shawn and Annie SMITH. It is a private intensive vocational training centre for both social and Christian purposes authorized by Order No 192/MINEFOP/SG/DFOP/SDGSF/SQCD of 12 Dec 2012

Institute of Professional practices (IPP) was founded in 2012 by Drs Shawn and Annie SMITH. It is a private intensive vocational training centre for both social and Christian purposes authorized by Order No 192/MINEFOP/SG/DFOP/SDGSF/SQCD of 12 Dec 2012. We are situated in Douala, the Littoral region of Cameroon.

OUR PASSION

We are dedicated to offering training programs to orphans, destitute, widows as well as others in our society. Widows, orphans and destitute constitute a vulnerable and delicate percentage in our society and often have little or no basic education, unemployed, marginalized, and unable to integrate the society. It is our goal to coach such groups of people through trainings and scholarship of a wide range of quality professional curriculum. This gives them a foundation to be entrepreneurs and operational to social and professional insertion.

 

Project Goal

The purpose of the project is to empower widows, orphans and other destitute through the creation of platform for the upgrading of their capacities to become more productive and fruitful in the society

 

Specific objectives

– To create awareness in the communities within and outside Cameroon to protect and conserve the rights of the widows and orphans

– Reduce the percentage of impoverished vulnerable groups in the society

– Provide adequate education to widows and orphans in practical fields of life

– Assist widows and orphans in the development of entrepreneurial skills

– Work in partnership with other national and international organizations for the integration of these vulnerable groups

– Support the creation of small and medium sized businesses
