2017 at Gospel of Christ Ministries began with an unprecedented School of Global Missions which gathered the saints of God in the ministry’s headquarters in Douala, with an  average of 40 nations, and 5000 households connected online daily.

schoolglobalmissions-sessioni-21The Man of God equipped the saints with the Father’s mind concerning our participation together with the Son for the furtherance of the gospel to the different nations of the world. He established that Missions deal with our participation in the missions of God and that beyond the love of souls, what should motivate us in getting the gospel out is the love of Christ.

The training kicked off with Dr Shawn Smith introducing “The Gold Standard of God’s Manifold Wisdom”, which he summed up as “Christ and Him Crucified”. As the school advanced, other aspects like, The consecration of the Vessel, The Great Commission and The All and the Each of the Gospel were expounded.

Peculiar to the eight sessions of the School of Global Missions was an outstanding prayer session on the last day, where the saints together with the Man of God gathered in  the morning to pray for the nations of the world. Dr. Shawn Smith ministered from Colossians 4:12, where he explained that prayer is spiritual labor because it exerts spiritual energy. He further explained that the calling of Epaphras, one of Apostle Paul’s companions was due to his fervency in prayer for the will of God to be made manifest. The man of God mentioned that until the Church occupies the place of prayer, there are certain things that will not  happen, not because God is inefficient, but because God has chosen to let us participate in His plan.

globalmissions-session3-10The School of Global Missions at Gospel of Christ Ministries concluded with prophetic utterances and declarations made in the spirit and in the understanding, whereby voices of thanksgiving were lifted up to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ in gratitude of His triumph over the nations of the earth. The mission indeed is possible.
