I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude to our Heavenly Father for being such a visible expression of love in our lives, and also to thank our parents for raising stewards who reflect that love to us. Though we may not have one-on-one relationships with our parents, their love for us is made abundantly clear through the Reverends who shepherd us. Through their leadership, we never feel far or disconnected from the family. In fact, whenever we see them, we feel a warmth and connection that speaks of God’s love for us.
The intentional care and love we experience here are truly healing. Over and over again, it has healed the orphaned wounds of my heart, some I didn’t even know existed. Every smile, every word of encouragement, and every affirmation of love has impacted my life in ways that words cannot fully express.
I want to thank our dear parents for their warmth, their smiles, and for always reminding us that they love us. I am deeply thankful to God for raising such faithful stewards like our Reverends, who mirror this love in their ministry to us. I am honored and blessed to be part of this family.
